Experienced industry manager joins develogment GmbH & Co. KG

Oliver Tietze as new managing partner since 01.10.2021

“We are very happy to have gained Oliver Tietze, a very experienced and result-driven manager with an international background in various industries, for develogment. We are convinced that he will contribute to our company’s further growth with his expertise and network,” said the two managing partners Jens Kokon and Sven Vogel.

With a doctorate in industrial engineering, he began his career at McKinsey. After 6 years he moved to thyssenkrupp where he held various management and executive board positions over the last 16 years. Among other things, he was responsible for the European/African business of Elevator and the global plant engineering and construction business area as CEO. Strategic realignments and the digitalization of business models and processes were just as much part of his focus as reorganizations and turnaround programs.

Tietze himself is looking forward to his new task with great excitement: “There is enormous potential in our company for the holistic empowerment of primarily medium-sized customers and public administrations in all fields of action of the digital transformation. Thanks to the unique combination of business, process and IT know-how with our own software solutions, we offer our customers from currently more than 10 industries everything from a single source: from clear orientation via consulting to effective implementation.”

Tietze and Vogel have known and appreciated each other for many years from their times together in Kempen.“ The fact that we were able to win over a major company’s board member is certainly exceptional. Since its founding in 2017, the team has grown dynamically and now employs around 50 people. The company’s founders, Sven Vogel and Kens Kokon, held management positions at international logistics groups for many years. The process automation solution developed by develogment has its origins in logistics processes, but is increasingly being used in many other fields due to its flexibility and scope of services – regardless of size and industry.
